The nearest IKEA to Middlesbrough is the store in Gateshead, about 35 miles north on the A1. It's a decent trip — and if you're buying anything bigger than a few flat packs, getting it home in your own car is a challenge. That's where we come in.
How Our IKEA Run Service Works
There are two ways we can help with IKEA purchases. We can take you with us — remember our Ford Transit Connect seats 3 in the front, so you can come along for the ride, do your shopping and we'll load everything up and bring it home. Or if you've already ordered online for click and collect, we can head up to Gateshead, collect your order and deliver it straight to your door in Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool or wherever you are on Teesside.
What Can We Fit?
Our Transit Connect has a generous load area — we regularly transport PAX wardrobes, KALLAX shelving units, MALM bed frames, BILLY bookcases and KIVIK sofas. For very large items like corner sofas or multiple wardrobe systems, message us first so we can confirm it'll fit.
What Does an IKEA Run Cost?
An IKEA run from Middlesbrough to Gateshead and back typically costs from £80-£120 depending on how long the loading takes and whether we're dropping off at one address or multiple. Use the quote calculator on our homepage for an estimate, or WhatsApp us on 07424 135460 with what you're buying and we'll give you a fixed price.
Other Retail Runs We Cover
It's not just IKEA — we regularly do runs to B&Q, Screwfix, Dunelm, Argos and other large retailers across Teesside and the wider region. If you've bought something big and need it delivering, get in touch.
