Which Service Do You Actually Need?
Most people arrive here knowing what they want moved but not what to call it. It genuinely does not matter, because the price comes from the same three things every time: how much there is, how far it is going, and how hard it is to get in and out. The service names below are just a way of grouping jobs that behave similarly.
If you are not sure which one fits, pick the closest and tell us the rest in your own words. Nobody has ever been charged more for choosing the wrong heading.
Moving Home
Flat moves, house moves, part moves and storage runs. This is our core work and it covers everything from a single room to a three bedroom house.
For most one and two bedroom moves the figure lands between £70 and £200, which is well under what a traditional removal firm charges for the same job. The difference is not corner cutting, it is that you are not paying for a lorry and a crew you do not need. One careful person with a van suits a flat move far better than four people and a Luton.
What is included: loading, carrying, transport and unloading, with blankets and straps to protect furniture. We will dismantle and reassemble beds and flat pack if it needs it. What matters most to the price is access, so a second floor flat with no lift takes longer than a bungalow with a driveway, and we would rather know that up front than discover it on the day.

Delivery and Single Items
One large thing that will not fit in a car. A sofa, a wardrobe, a fridge freezer, a bed, a desk. This covers shop collections from places like IKEA, B&Q, Argos and DFS, and it covers anything you have bought from a private seller on eBay, Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree.
Local single item drops start at our £50 minimum, which covers the first five miles, with the size of the item and any extra distance setting the price above that. We carry it into the room you want it rather than leaving it at the door, and we will take the packaging away for recycling if you would like.
One thing worth knowing: for a single item we ask for a photo before quoting, and the quote form will not go through without one. That is not us being awkward. "A sofa" covers a two seater and a four metre corner unit, and a photo is the only way to give you a price that does not change on the day. If you are buying from someone, a screenshot of their listing photo is fine.

Business and Office Moves
Office relocations, shop moves, stock transfers between premises, and equipment deliveries. Usually smaller businesses, market traders and people running something from home who have outgrown the spare room.
The thing that matters most here is timing rather than price. A move during trading hours costs you more in lost business than the job itself, so we work early mornings, evenings and weekends to keep your downtime down. We can provide a written quote and an invoice for your records, which is useful come accounting time.
Clearances
Emptying a room, a garage, a loft, a shed or a whole flat of furniture and household items. This is the work that big clearance firms will quote a fortune for because they price everything as though it were a full house.
Part clearances start from around £75 depending on how much there is. We handle probate and bereavement clearances too, and we do those at your pace: anything you want to keep gets set aside, and reusable items go to charity where we can. Waste Collection
Garden waste from £60, wood and timber from £50, and small mixed loads from £75. Usually cheaper and far less hassle than a skip, because there is no permit to arrange, no skip sitting on your drive for a week, and no loading it yourself.
You only pay for the space your waste actually takes in the van rather than a fixed skip size you may not fill. Using a licensed carrier also protects you: fly tipped waste can be traced back to whoever originally owned it, so it is worth checking the licence of anyone who offers to take rubbish away cheaply.

Airport Transfers
Door to door runs to Teesside International, Newcastle, and Leeds Bradford. Three seats in the front and a full van behind, so there is room for the whole group and every case without anything on anyone's lap.
The price is fixed before you travel rather than metered, so heavy traffic is our problem and not yours. We do early departures and late returns, and we will pick you up when you land if you give us the flight details.
What Every Job Includes
- A clean, spacious van and one experienced person to do the lifting
- Blankets and straps, because furniture that arrives damaged is not a saving
- All fuel and mileage for the job as quoted
- A fixed price agreed before we start, with no deposit. You pay when the job is done
- Hire and Reward insurance, and a licensed waste carrier registration for anything we take away
If a job turns out bigger than described we will always agree the change with you before we start, never after. That is the whole reason we ask so many questions on the quote form.
How the Price Is Worked Out
There is a £50 minimum for any job, then £2 per mile beyond the first five miles. On top of that, the size of the load and the access at both ends decide the rest.
That mileage element matters less than people expect. Most Teesside jobs are short: Norton to Stockton, Yarm to Eaglescliffe, Thornaby to Middlesbrough. Those runs carry almost no distance cost, which is why local moves often land at or near the minimum. What actually moves the price is stairs, parking and how much there is.
